WOW - One whole year!!

Well today is the big day, Tiffany's First Birthday. Wow - I can't believe my baby is one years old. It seems like this past year of madness has been nothing but a dream. Today I saw an airivac helicopter, and I couldn't believe that it was one year ago that I was flown to St. Joe's and was fighting for my life.

Finally getting to hold her

Big Girl (like 3lbs big)

I was so scared and certain that I would be planning a funeral that I never thought that a year later I would have a hoover vacuum child that army crawls every where and tastes everything.

This year has been nothing more than a miracle for our family. Thank you for all of the thought, prayers, acts of service, and the support that you have shown us. I could never express how much gratitude I have.

In case you are wondering what her current stats are, well, you'll have to wait. We are having her birthday party next week (email me at armywife1cav@yahoo.com and I'll send you the info - we would love to have you join our celebration) and who ever can guess her current weight- or who ever is closest, wins a 3lb Hershey's bar. Yummy!!

Quick Review

I ehm, WE finally got my George W. Bush Camera (thank you stimulus check) and so here are some pictures to catch you up on the Doster Dorks happenings!

Tiffany has learned how to climb up this step as well as the stairs. Seek and destroy. Thankfully some genius invented the baby gate - it is my saving grace!!

Ashlee Graduated from Kindergarten - HURRAY! Watch out 1st grade!

Elle really wanted a Slip and Slide, so this is the girls racing/crashing into each other.
My little water baby. She LOVES the water.
We went out to Gabe's house and enjoyed a Memorial Day picnic at the park. I love their hair!

Monday early morning we went hiking with my parent at Usery Park. The girls loved it so much, I think we will be doing it more often.

I love this picture. She is enjoying the water and enjoying the sun. Want to hear something crazy - okay are you ready, brace yourself - - Tiffany turns ONE on Friday - YIKES!!!! I can't believe it has been a whole year since all of the madness started. Wow. We will be having her birthday party on June 7th - so look for your invites in the mail. (Why not have her birthday party on her birthday you may ask - well, my cousin Mandy is getting hitched that day, so that is already crazy, the next day I have to get ready for Girls camp and the Kenny concert - that's right less than a week baby!! - then I'm gone the next day to Girl's camp, so nothing but madness, therefore the 7th worked out best for me. She won't know - she's only one!!)

Have a wonderful day!!

It's a Miracle

It's a miracle!! (Cue Hallelujah Chorus sung by the Mo-Tab). At first I thought it was a fluke, a strange once in a life time experience. But no, it has happened three times, in a row. It's nothing short of a miracle. What? What is a miracle that would bring such joy to my blog? Did I win the lottery? No, it's worth far more than any lottery. Did I get a new car? No, far more joy than that. Did Elle have a perfectly behaved day at school - HA! I said miracle, not the second coming folks!! Our great, wonderful, amazing miracle is that Tiffany has slept through the night for three nights in a row. Do you understand the great impact this has on our lives? Since I'm gone until 2 or 3 in the morning, Aaron has had to get up with her. He now is in a better mood. I am able to come home and sleep without her waking up twice to feed. I am a whole new woman. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Mr. Buddha Sleeping Man for allowing my child to sleep through the night.
(Watch, now that I have posted this - she will be up every hour, I'll keep you updated).

Mother's Day

Well, yesterday was an interesting Mother's Day. I woke up at 4am with Tiffany who was wide awake. I guess she wanted to get a head start on her first Mother's Day. By the time I got her to sleep, the rest of the dorks were up and not allowing me into the kitchen. Hmmm them alone in the kitchen with Aaron in charge is never a good thing. I ended up with Eggo Waffles with syrup and whip cream and pineapple orange juice served to me in bed. It was cute. The girls then gave me their sweet little gifts that they made at school and Aaron gave me a cake stand I've been eyeing. For those of you that don't know, I am obsessed with cake stands. I can't get enough. I love them. I don't know what started this obsessing, but I do know that they take up a lot of room, and I'm running out of places to put them. I guess when we add on to our home, I'll have to make a special room for them.

Speaking about rooms, I'm going to redecorate upstairs. I'm finally going to give Elle her own room and put Tiffany and Ashlee together. Ashlee and I came to an agreement on color and so hopefully next week, I will start painting on Monday and have it finished by Friday. We are doing a High School Musical / Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. I know it sounds crazy, but it's going to be super cute!!! I might have to recruit Stephen to help me out on this one. By then I should have my new camera and I'll post some pictures. Yeah!!!

Girls camp is in 19 days, so I'm going to be a tad crazy, forgive me for the lack of posts in advance.

Have a wonderful Monday!!!

Big ol Heart!

I *heart* this man. Why?!

Because I *heart* money!!
This isn't suppose to be political blog, and I don't want to get into it. I am just glad to get a little extra cash flow so that I can go any purchase this:

My current camera is two years old - and this day and age, that is ancient. So I've been comparing and reading the reviews and decided to go with this one. It rocks. Aaron tested it at the ghetto Stapley Walmart and was able to take a picture from the photo area of a sign by the pharmacy, and it turned out perfect.

Reasons why I need a new camera:

1. Could have taken pictures of the office before and after I organized it. It is so clean and full of extra room that my treadmill has a new home.

2. Take a picture of the new treadmill.

3. Taken a picture of our family at 31 cent ice cream night at Baskin Robins. (I got jamoca almond fudge, and rocky road)

4. Take pictures of our family date (my siblings and us) and the Arizona Science Center - the titanic thing was pretty cool.

5. Take more pictures of my kids. They are growing too fast.

6. Take a picture of our license plate that says D DORKS. It's awesome

7. The most important reason, and really the main reason - ehm, drum roll please ...... to take pictures of Kenny at the concert the end of this month. I mean seriously, I need some more pictures of him to add to my computer. WOW - I really need to go to Kenny anonymous and get treatment.

Thats all. I'm off to work on camp stuff. Yeah me!
