Trauma

Somewhere in this X-ray it tells the muckity mucks and the brainiac doctors that my daughter has broken her growth plate. Joy. Little Miss Elle was playing on the monkey bars in our backyard when she was hanging upside down, slipped and fell on her wrist and head. I was at first more worried about her having a concussion since her face and lips had no color. It didn't even dawn on me to check her wrist. She finally complained that it hurt and when we took her to Urgent Care they confirmed the break. Joy. So, now we are waiting for a call from the Orthopedic specialist to make a decision on what the next step is. Possibly surgery. Joy.

Besides all this trauma, we had a pretty good Thanksgiving. Good Food. Good Company. What more could you ask for?!

I'm so sorry for Elle! I have had my share of broken bones (and surgeries)-so I kind of know how she feels! I hope you find out soon and that she can get to recovering instead of just hurting! Good Luck!
