Here we go again

So, for those who have wondered where I have gone, sent emails, or left voice messages. I am sorry it has taken so long to return them. Life has been crazy and I mean CRAZY for the past few weeks.. Some of you may have noticed that I deleted the last post. It's time to revise it. It was harsh I know, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta to do. So here's the scoop. We tried to keep it on the down low, but a nosey sisters in the ward decided it was her calling to spread the news, so I guess it can't be kept under wraps anymore. (How she found out still behooves me.) So we are expecting number 4. Since I am the queen of miscarriage, we wanted to wait until Thanksgiving - but since I'm a few days shy of 12 weeks, I guess now is okay to let the cat out of the bag.

Remember the post a few back about me going to the hospital and having kidney stones - there is nothing better than finding out that you are pregnant while you are passing kidney stones. Total surprise. All alone, in pain, and in shock. No wonder I yelled at my nurse that night. I guess it has been a blessing in disguise because we have been able to discover that my kidneys are not doing so well, and that I am a candidate for a new procedure where they will take the cord blood and inject it into my kidneys to see if they can repair them selves - otherwise, I'll be getting me a new one eventually.

So that's the scoop.

We won't find out what it is. I feel this time its a boy (unlike the other pregnancies). If I can get past 32 weeks, they will be happy. I will be starting dialysis every other week to help alleviate the stress on my kidneys. It sounds so much worse than it is. So don't stress out.

As for the Dear John letter - total coincidence that I was sick with the flu and morning sickness all at once. Today is day two that I feel better - thanks to all the med my doc has put me on. So I hope to finally fold the laundry, and finally get my house back in order.

Life is grand, life is crazy, life moves on even when you don't.

Thanks for all of those who got the news and came over to help out. For a girl who hates to receive or ask for service, I have been thankful for those who listen to the spirit and dropped by to help. Someone always showed up in my deepest darkest hour to help.

SIDE NOTE: Halloween was great - I'll get to that post after the laundry, dishes, and mopping of the floor.

I swear it wasn't me!! I promise. Kathy asked me if you were pregnant and I hesitated to tell her. She told me that your girls announced it in Primary :)

Actually - this certain lady wondered if I was and asked Ashlee, of course Ashlee told her, and thats when she started spreading the word. The girls hadn't been to primary between us telling them and the ward knowing. It was rather frustraiting! I have since had a talk with this person and asked them to shut their trap!

Ugh..I wish it could be easy for you. Going to the hospital is not fun, especially by yourself. I hope you continue to feel better, and that the cord blood works out.
So anyway, it's exciting that your are going to have another baby! I'll be thinking blue (as in boy) thoughts for you.

Congrats!! I felt the need to tell you that in regards to your post a while back, NO, you DON'T want twins! Especially if you're going to go less than full term!

But, you do want a boy, they are soooo fun! I hope you can feel a little like yourself soon.

Good luck with treatment and hormones!

Congratulations! What a crazy way to find out you're pregnant though! I feel bad about your kidney issues. I hope everything goes smoothly for you. You are just amazing and Heavenly Father must know that you are up to it, even if you aren't convinced. I would love a baby shower invite down the road to help celebrate a little boy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Mom and Dad Johnson think it is super that another Doster Dork is coming to the family. If this be a boy - lets hope he takes after his Grandpa Johnson and not his Doster Dork Dad. Ha! We love you guys and hope to see you soon.
