The Walk

OYE VEY - I'm so glad Saturday is over! HURRAY! It was a lot of crazy, but totally worth it. We ended up having 24 walkers of Team Tiffany. I think that isn't too bad considering it is our first year. We got more donations via check and cash, so we should have our final tally soon. In case you are wondering why I still have the fundraiser thing on the side, well, we are able to raise money until May 30th (Tiffany's Birthday) and have it count towards our total fundraising. So please, if you haven't, please donate. I will post pictures tomorrow when I'm not so tired. If you watched 12news yesterday, then you got to see Tiffany and I. Darn we are so cute!
Okay - so the other fun news of the week is that my brother Stephen came home from his mission. Hurray!! He was serving in the Washington DC South Mission, Spanish speaking. He is going through a little post mission shock, but don't worry, I'm sure he will be back to normal soon.
Besides that, life is still crazy. I'm not looking forward to No School on Friday, and my allergies are so bad right now that I really don't want to work all week. Oh the joys of being an adult. Now that I have the walk out of the way, my focus can now be on girls camp (42 days away) and Tiffany's 1st birthday party. I have no clue when to have her party. My cousin is getting married on May 30th, I have Kenny Chesney on May 31st, and then Girl's camp June 1st - 4th. My debate is on May 31st or June 7th. The reasons why I'm leaning against May 31st, is because, I would have to leave by 2pm for the concert, and then once I get home, I'm sure that Aaron wouldn't have the house clean and then I would be leaving to camp with a messy disorganized house. And since I have OCD, we can't handle that thought. Sheesh - I need to take a breath before I have a panic attack. Any who - so what do you think? I am probably totally over analyzing this right?! Besides it's only her first birthday.
Oh well - have a wonderful day!!

So Many Things - Such Little Time

Okay, first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!!!!

ehm - (happy birthday on Saturday - a tad crazy to post on that date - sorry).

I love Steve, not because he is my best friend Tiffany's hubby, but because he is Steve, and no one else is like him. I have narrowed my list of a million reasons I love him, down to the top five.

5. Who let the dogs out . . . . . he loves this song, however, can not sing in the right rhythm the "who who who who" part. It's pretty funny.

4. Toes - still on the dog theme, he use to have this dog Shiro who would faithfully lick Steve's toes after he took his army boots off. (He also allowed the dog to lick his face - and then Tiffany would kiss that face - blaa - I think I just vomited a little in my mouth)

3. Dinner Time - okay, so Steve came from a large family. It was basically survival of the fittest. So when our family would have dinner with his family, he would ration out the food so that everyone got a little, and then he would consume the rest. To put that into perspective, we would get a cup of Oriental Chicken Salad, and he would get three cups. It got to the point where we would purposely take all the food, so that he would be in a panic state of mind.

2. Bob Villa. He is a great "wood worker". We were lucky enough to be present for a couple of his first wood projects. The wood shelf for the kids room that he put I think 6 layers of primer on is my favorite. There was so much primer, that the paint wouldn't stick. It made it a blue tie die looking shelf, and it actually was really neat looking, but he always goes above and beyond.

1. The number one reason I love Steve - (drum roll please) is that he introduced me to Tiffany. We knew Steve from being ward missionaries. I was ready to burst with Ashlee when he offered Tiffany to watch Elle when I was having Ashlee. He invited us over for dinner so that we could get to know each other, and at first I was very hesitant, but once I saw her drinking a Vanilla Coke - I knew that we would be life long friends. I also love him because he allowed her to come out for a week when I had Baby Tiffany so that she could tend me, and also because I know I can call him at anytime for advice, and he will stop what he is doing, and listen to me and give me advice.

Okay s0 the top reason turned into a million other reasons, but that's what happens when you know such a great guy!!

Anywho - HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLD TIMER!!!

............................................

Next on my agenda to post:

TONIGHT IS THE SEASON PREMIER OF DEADLIEST CATCH - HURRAY!!!

...........................................

Okay did anyone watch SNL this past week with Ashton Kutcher?

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/play.shtml?mea=239664

Death by Chocolate is now my all time favorite thing they have done. It has surpassed Waynes World and Simon (are you looking at my bum, you chicky monkey, bum looker. opps, I farted hee hee )

...........................................

Last but not least - March of Dimes Week. Okay folks, this is the final push to get donations in. Please, if you haven't donated, please do. Even $10 helps out. If you do not feel comfortable paying online, please let me know and I will be more than happy to come and pick it up. Thank you to all who have donated, your Thank You cards are being sent out.

...........................................

Last but not least - my brother Stephen comes home tomorrow from his mission. HURRAY!!!!!

So that's it. Hope I didn't make you fall asleep. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to donate!!

Some of my favorites

Okay, I decided to post a few of my favorite things. I'm sure all of you are getting sick of the MOD thing - don't worry, you have 10 days and it will be over with!!

My favorite website in the whole wide world is: http://www.slickdeals.net/ I check this about 20 times a day - no joke. I get home from work and check it in the middle of the night. I am obsessed. I have on several occasions been able to get the good deals and save us a ton of cash flow.
I also love http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/ They rock too. This is the coupon website that is TOTALLY FREE!! I use to do the grocery game, then I found out about this site and use it to save us an average of $200 a paycheck on food. It is super easy, and once you have a system in place, it takes me about 20 minutes to clip and gather my coupons and then I'm out the door.

My favorite food is sushi - yum. My old boss introduced me to a place in East Mesa Sushi Kee, now I'm hooked and go there way to often. They should have something on the menu with my name on it. My favorite item is the Red Mountain - spicy tuna roll - Yummmm!! When I can't go do the sushi thing - they have weird hours - I love Neds. When I was prego with Ashlee and living in Texas, my sister brought me Neds - it was wonderful! Crap, now I'm getting hungry.

While we are talking about food - let's move on to my favorite show. I love The Deadliest Catch (New season starts next Tuesday - hurray for DVR). I love, love, love it. I want to go to Alaska just to visit Dutch Harbor and hopefully see the Northwestern and then meet Sig. He rocks. I also love The Biggest Loser (Go Ali ) and I'm starting to get hooked on Ax Men. I do love the normal things like My Name is Earl, The Office, and ER, but they have been gone so long - that I've kinda forgotten about them.

Favorite music - is mostly country, but I listen to it all. My favorite artist, isn't Mr. Hottie Hottie Kenny Chesney (although I do love that man - 53 days till his concert) my favorite is Garth Brooks. Mmm Mmm Mmm. I own all of his CD's, box sets, DVDs, you name it. I still have my fan shirt of his from when I was in Jr. High. I got to meet him and get his autograph when he was doing spring training here in 1999. My poor husband.

Favorite movie - okay - are you sitting down?! My favorite, favorite, favorite movie - to the point I have it memorized and quote it daily is Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure. It is funny. If you haven't watched it as an adult. You should. Phil Hartman (SNL) helped write it, so it has a lot of witty humor. "I know you are but what am I?!"

So, yeah, there you go. Something a little different. I hope you enjoyed this little peak into my pathetic life. Now I'm off to clean the house while listening to Garth Brooks.

Have a Great Day!

This post is for Michael (my brother)

This is Denny Hamlin and FedEx Racing supporting the March of Dimes
(my brother Michael's favorite racer)

FedEx Racing will be participating in March for Babies events around the country this April. Show your support for the March of Dimes by contributing today. Then, don't forget to watch the Subway Fresh Fit 500 on April 12 in Phoenix to see the #11 FedEx Toyota Camry race under a special March of Dimes paint scheme. FedEx Corporation has supported the March of Dimes since 1979, and its employees and contractors contributed more than $2 million to the cause in 2007. Help us exceed that amount this year by contributing today. (Like to Team Tiffany- hint hint).

So Michael - if this isn't a reason enough to donate - then what is?
Don't believe the story, then click
here.

(FYI - I will be at the race the night before.
Yep, I'm turning the good ole white trash,
first I got a gun, now NASCAR tickets, what next - a mullet?)

One of those days

I miss the T.V. show Friends. I loved it. I felt like I was one of their friends, and I sometimes catch myself thinking about what they are up to these days (as if they are real). Well, besides the Thanksgiving episode where Joey puts on Phoebe's maternity pants to eat the turkey, my other favorite episode (well at least it was) was when Rachel tells Ross she is prego. He is in total shock because they used protection and when he reads the box, it says they are only like 95% effective. I know how he feels. To quote Ross "They should have that in big bold print across the box". I agree. Had I ever thought that we would be in the same predicament, I would have chosen alternative methods of prevention. So here's the low down, in November, we will be very busy, unless the little one decides to follow her older sister (yeah - I said her, the odds of a boy is like a snowballs chance in you know where), then we will be busy in August/Septemberish.

Anywho, oh by the way, did I mention APRIL FOOLS!!! Are you kidding me. Do you really think I would allow such nonsense. We will not begin to be pregnant until AFTER I turn 30 in February. We are going to Disneyland for my 30th and I do NOT want to be pregnant, or nursing. That's all.

Have a GREAT day!!!
